After becoming sick and being admitted to the hospital, George was required to stay in longer than expected. He had a phone that he used to notify his Probation & Parole Officer of his location, but the nurse broke his phone by accident, so George gave alternate phone info to his PO. Even so, a warrant was still issued after 7 days of being admitted to the hospital, because he was supposed to add a change of address after seven days!

I understand there is another delay keeping the ACLU’s request for Tier 1 offenders to be removed from the registry. These courts need to be reminded that registrants are voters too. Some need to be removed from the bench.
